Add your Webmail account to Mozilla Thunderbird so you can manage your mail from the desktop app. This guide uses IMAP, which keeps your mail in sync across all your devices.

Before you begin: The server names and ports below are an example — always use the values shown on your own POP/IMAP page. We recommend IMAP over POP so your mail stays in sync.

Step 1 — Find your server settings

In Webmail, go to Settings > POP/IMAP. Note the server details (blue): your Incoming and outgoing server (IMAP), Outgoing SMTP Server, and the secure ports (IMAP 993, SMTP 465). Your password is the same one you use to sign in to Webmail.

Step 2 — Start adding an account

In Thunderbird, open the menu (☰) > New > Existing Mail Account. Enter your name, your full Webmail email address, and your password, then click Configure manually.

Step 3 — Enter the server settings

Set the protocol to IMAP. For both incoming and outgoing servers, enter the host name from Step 1. Use port 993 with SSL/TLS for incoming and port 465 with SSL/TLS for outgoing, with Normal password authentication.

Step 4 — Test and finish

Click Re-test to verify the settings, then Done. Thunderbird connects and downloads your mail.

Tip: If the test fails, recheck the host name and that the connection security is SSL/TLS for both servers.
